Om mesterskapet
The 2026 European Off-Road Running Championships will take place in Ljubljana-Kamnik, Slovenia, bringing Europe’s top mountain and trail runners together in one of Central Europe’s most picturesque and challenging landscapes. Known for its steep forested slopes and panoramic alpine views, Ljubljana-Kamnik will provide the perfect backdrop for three days of intense competition and breathtaking scenery.
This will be the first time Slovenia hosts the European Off-Road Running Championships, underlining the country’s growing prominence in endurance and outdoor sport. Following the 2024 edition in Annecy, France, and the 2025 edition in Annecy’s twin host city, the 2026 Championships promise to continue the event’s tradition of celebrating grit, nature, and European sporting excellence.
