Om BMW PGA Championship

BMW PGA Championship er en årlig golfturnering for menn på Europatouren. Den ble første gang avholdt i 1955 og var i mange år kjent som Volvo PGA Championship. Turneringen spilles i mai på West Course på Wentworth Club utenfor London.

Wentworth er hovedkvarteret til PGA European Tour, og BMW Championship anses ofte for å være flaggskipsturneringen på Europatouren fordi den avholdes på Wentworth og har den største premiepotten blant turneringene som arrangeres av PGA European Tour. Det er imidlertid flere turneringer på Europatouren som er mer lukrative, herunder major-turneringene og World Golf Championships, men disse arrangeres av andre organisasjoner.
