About Val d’Aran Ultra Trial
Val d’Aran by UTMB is already preparing its third edition. It will be made up of seven mountain races which will place Val d’Aran as the epicentre of trail running in the Pyrenees.
The third edition of Val d’Aran by UTMB returns to continue making history. For the second consecutive year is the European UTMB World Series Major, that is to say, the European final of the circuit. In this way, runners who manage to complete their corresponding distances will double their chances of obtaining a place in the draw to participate in the UTMB World Series Finals 2024, the three emblematic distances of UTMB Mont-Blanc (OCC 50K, CCC 100K, and UTMB 100M).
In addition, the first ten men and the first ten women of each race of the UTMB World Series Majors obtain a direct place in the UTMB World Series Finals in the equivalent category. More than 3,000 runners of 70 nationalities enjoyed an unforgettable experience in 2022.
