On behalf of the Norwegian Athletics Association, it is my great pleasure to welcome you all to Norway and to our capital city, Oslo. Bislett Stadium is renowned worldwide as a historic and iconic athletics venue, and we are proud to host you here in its inspiring surroundings. We are also pleased to include Stovner Stadium as part of the championship, showcasing more of what Oslo has to offer.
We are honored to welcome Masters athletes from across the Nordic countries— athletes who truly embody our vision: “athletics for all, throughout life.” Your dedication, passion, and commitment to the sport are an inspiration to us all.
We are confident that this championship has been designed to provide the best possible and equal conditions for every athlete to perform at their highest level. Equally important, however, is that these days become a celebration of friendship, unity, respect, and true sportsmanship. Events like this remind us that athletics is not only about results, but also about community and shared experiences across generations and borders.
We also hope you will take the opportunity to enjoy Oslo—its vibrant city life, its green spaces, and its welcoming atmosphere—during your stay.
