About Big Half Marathon
The Big Half 2024, officially known as The Vitality Big Half, is set to take place on Sunday, 1 September 2024. It is a vibrant and inclusive half-marathon (13.1 miles) that follows a closed-road course starting near London’s iconic Tower Bridge and finishing at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich. The event aims to celebrate London’s diverse community, bringing together runners of all backgrounds and abilities.
The day will begin with the Elite Wheelchair race at 08:25, followed by the Elite Men and Women, with the first mass wave of runners starting at 08:30. Waves of participants will then start every 10 minutes until 10:00.
