Format

Round Robin (17.-19. des)

The eight finalists compete in a single round-robin to determine who advances straight to the semifinals (first and second), goes to the Survival Stage (third through sixth), or gets eliminated (sevent and eighth).

Survival stage (19. des)

The four players who placed between third and sixth in the Round-Robin stage play a mini double-elimination knockout to determine the last two spots in the semifinals.

Semi- and final (20.-21 des)

The four players who made it from previous phases compete in a single-elimination knockout to determine the Champions Chess Tour winner.

Champions Chess Tour 2024

The CCT features four online events and live, in-person Finals. The winner of the CCT Finals becomes the Champions Chess Tour champion. Players can qualify for the CCT Finals by winning the online events or through the CCT Leaderboard, described later.
